At this time of year water is still very cold and there can be unseen dangers beneath the surface. The RNLI gives advice on staying safe which can be found at https://rnli.org/safety. Unfortunately emergency services have to deal with a number of tragic accidents every year where people lose their lives in our inland rivers and lakes – please keep your self and children safe by staying out of open water unless there are lifeguards in place. 🌞With the recent warm weather, we would like to kindly remind everyone to ensure that their homes remain secure at all times. While it is understandable that windows and doors may be left open to keep properties cool, please take extra care to secure your property when leaving the house or retiring for the evening. Ensure that all doors and windows are properly locked, and avoid leaving any valuable items visible from outside.
